>Fair Park Concert Safety Called Into Question
A North Texas teenager died last weekend while attending a rave party and concert held at Fair Park in Dallas. Now, this weekend, another big concert is coming to the venue and some are questioning how the people there will stay safe.
Witnesses shot cell phone video of the Electric Daisy Carnival, a rave party where people danced and listened to loud music. But most of those who attended that event agree that it got out of control. “I saw a lot of throwing up,” said Belinda Ramos. “I saw a lot of people passed out.”
Andrew Graf of Argyle died of a suspected drug overdose. He was only 19 years old. And 30 others at the event – most of whom were also underage – were hospitalized for drug or alcohol issues, or heat-related symptoms.
