>Blood drive set Monday in memory of baby with rare heart condition
Emma Routh died at 3 months from hypoplastic left heart syndrome. She received blood transfusions during an open heart surgery. She would have been 3 on April 15. The blood drive will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the party room at Bounce-U, 8922 S. Memorial Drive. Children of donors will be allowed free play time at the facility, and adult donors will receive a 10 percent discount on any party booked there within a year. Donors may also choose to forego their appreciation gift, allowing the blood institute to give the gift’s monetary value to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. For more information about the drive, call 918-282-6547. To make an appointment to donate, call 877-340-8777 or go to
